This 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 is a nine-passenger low-roof van that was modified when new by Midwest Automotive Designs. Powered by a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission, the van is finished in Arctic White over tan leather upholstery. Equipment includes front heated captain’s chairs, two rows of rear captain’s chairs, a power-folding rear bench, auxiliary air conditioning, front and rear touch-screen CD head units, a roof-mounted video monitor, and 16″ six-spoke alloy wheels. This Sprinter conversion van has 23k miles and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, upfitter manuals, a clean Carfax report, and a clean title.
The exterior features fog lights, a sliding side door, rear barn doors, side steps, a body-color revised front fascia, and tinted windows. The 16″ alloy wheels wear 245/75 Michelin Defender LTX tires with 2018 date codes. The van rides on an independent front suspension and a solid rear axle, and braking is handled by discs at all four corners.
The front cabin houses heated manually adjustable captain’s chairs accompanied by an Alpine touch-screen CD head unit, automatic climate control, rear air conditioning controls, power windows and mirrors, woodgrain trim, and auxiliary switchgear. Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer, a 5k-rpm tachometer, a fuel gauge, and a configurable digital display.
The rear compartment is outfitted with two rows of captain’s chairs and a power-folding rear bench. Amenities include a secondary touch-screen CD head unit as well as auxiliary inputs, overhead lighting, accent lighting, and a roof-mounted video monitor.
The 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 was factory rated at 188 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other reported damage.
